Would you bike 6 miles just to eat and then ride another 6 miles to go home?
This is what I did earlier, I rode 12 miles back and forth just to eat a sherbet. I just got a new clipless pedal, a new shoes with cleats, this is a great way of getting used to the clipless pedal and the shoes. Getting used to clipping and getting out.
A quick ride would help me with endurance and help me with riding through traffic. Some people will just drive their car and go there. Why not get the calories out, gain it back, and get the calories out again.
Plus, it’s a nice day to bike. You never know, you might bike with someone too.
